De-caf Nienna... sure why not. Its going to be a big tent party that recognizes and welcomes diversity.

Like others here, I do not consume coffee either and am a life long tea drinker. That is why I suggested the Long Island version.

A Long Island Iced Tea Party might be popular. I would think the membership meetings would be fun. And just imagine the conventions.

This incident reminds me of many years ago when George Wallace of Alabama came to Dearborn, Michigan to spew his hatred and bigotry. A local group was able to get in line early with many members and they occupied several of the front rows in the hall with their members who simply sat emotionless dur...

The TPM open letter to Conservatives is very timely. The parts that were linked to but not reproduced by Ara are also well worth reading. They fit right in with the Harris Poll that gives even more evidence that a sizable chunk of the current Republican party are just plain wacko. http://news.yahoo....

This sounds very promising. The public relations value in creating the name COFFEE PARTY is pure genius and certainly did the job of putting them out in front to get some valuable publicity. This bears watching over the coming months as the Tea party folks get even more angrier and out of control ov...

The Republican Party could not go far without their offical house TV network - FOX News to vomit up the party line on every issue of the day. The Washington Post has a truly superb article today asking the long overdue question - just how long will honest journalists allow FOX to go unchallenged as ...

You do not endorse somebody for President of the USA if you feel that you have nothing important in common with them. Obviously the right wing conservatives at CPAC felt that they and Ron Paul were fellow travelers with a great deal in common. That is why they endorsed him. It matters not who outsid...

And lets be straight and honest about this..... the weekend CPAC endorsement for Ron Paul should once and for all time erase any doubts about the relationship between libertarians and right wing conservatives. It was the last bit of cement which intertwines their many common interests and policy pos...

Well lets see here about common ground between libertarian conservatives like Ron Paul and right wing tea party conservatives. CPAC seemed to be made up of the inbred children resulting from the union of both. They both hate, despise and loathe labor unions and the people who fight for labor. They b...

Thank for that breaking news Elfshadow. This is a match made in heaven as there is a wide area of agreement between many of those rabid right wing extremists and Ron Paul on many key domestic and economic issues. This combo goes together like ketchup and french fries.

Vison says A nutbar, like the school shooters and the postal workers. Nothing more nothing less. Maybe. Maybe not. Right now its just too soon to say based on incomplete information. It is sad but the extreme right wing nuts are already embracing Stack as some sort of martyr against taxation and in the fight for liberty. I can see the Thomas Paine types in their tricornered hats putting his photo up on their home altars as the story runs on the news. You do not have to take my w...

This is breaking on the net and is now confirmed by CNN. it looks to be the ravings of yet another right wing wacko tax protester angry at the government for spoiling his scheme to dodge taxes. If you missed it..... from our friends at aintitcool news.com But to see the complete METROPOLIS by Fritz Lang? A few more that came to me while I tried to fall asleep last night. Sam Cooke - "A Change Is Gonna Come" - that is one beautiful song and displayed the vocal powers and charms of one the truly great singers at the very peak of his abilities. The way Spike Lee used it in MALCOLM X put a lum...

Those are good additions. Eric Clapton - You Look Wonderful Tonight is a beautiful song .... kind of an update of the old Jerome Kern and Dorothy Fields standard. I love the story behind it - how this woman is taking care of this guy, probably an older guy with a trophy on his arm, and he knows he i...
