Not me. And unless the back half of August gets real hot real fast, this summer will go down in the local books as abnormally cool.

It is so grossly hot and humid here. I am enjoying our thunderstorms right now, though.

Orlando has been normal levels of grossly hot of late. None of those 100F+ days we were seeing a few weeks back.

At least you have the ocean somewhat nearby.

Hot and sticky here all week, with temperatures approaching 30 C earlier this week. We had a little rain Weds night but still hot 'n humid yesterday. Looks overcast so far this morning. I believe temperatures should drop to low 20s tomorrow.

It got to 69*F (21*C) here today, by the shores of the San Francisco Bay, and I still felt overheated. I think my internal thermostat is broken or I've got an aura on overdrive. I'm fine with a tee shirt down to about 55*F (13*C). I'm glad I am no longer in Chico, Calif., where I was earlier this month, at 106*F (41*C), deploying with the Red Cross. At least the shelters I volunteered in were air conditioned. And it was a dry heat. Opening the front door was kind of like opening an oven door.

It's been a very wet summer here this year, in contrast to last year's rather awful drought. Hay is cheap and plentiful and it won't be so hard to feed our cows this winter. It was darn near chilly this morning at 55F, and that's unheard of for August in Missouri.

We had a week of glorious temps (70s/low 20s). But now it's getting hot again. Ugh

The day before yesterday it was so cool that the sheep were butting heads like they do in the fall breeding season. Silly confused sheep.

Then yesterday a heat advisory started and they were back to just trying to stay alive in a sweltering heat index of 107F.

This probably had something to do with the weird storm Saturday that instead of sweeping west to east like normal, decided to take a right turn in it's course.

Yes, it's been stupid hot here and will continue like this till the weekend when it will "cool down" to 86F/30C.
