I wasn't trying to steal your thunder Griff. That is an amazing coincidence!

This one is just weird: http://www.gomoose.com/contest/2004/moose_and_cat.jpg

OK OK I'll stop spamming now.

I didn't accuse you from stealing thunder, laureanna :D For starters, one needs thunder for it to be stolen! :D

I'm quite amazed at how widespread this cat-horse affection thing is, though :Q

I'm surprised the horses put up with it so calmly.

And Griffy's got thunder to spare. :Q

Affection? Hmmh, from what I've heard about cats, they have glands on their head, and when they rub their head on you, they just mark you for their territory - telling other cats you belong to them!

Just your daily reality check - carry on! :D

(But the pics are cute - make me feel all warm and fuzzy, really! :) Silly humans. ;) )

Well, truehobbit - cat's DO have scenting glands on their heads, and that IS why they rub up against you ... but one would expect something as independently minded as a cat to NOT mark something theirs that they don't feel something for! :D

Mummpy, you are SUCH a guy.

:P

That is inter-species LOVE you see there, pal! No underlying threat of violence, just LOVE, baby.

Men.

;)

Laureanna, that you for your efforts, I'm sure the pics are great! I'm going to save them to melt over at my leisure later today. I am late for work!

Possibly, possibly! *pats the Griffon comfortingly*

Or maybe they just don't like the smell of the horse and prefer to give it some smell of their own. :P
