Thanks, Jude! I never would have guessed that quotation marks were needed, as these boards don't tend to use them. HTML code does, but I can usually keep straight the sites I need it for when switching back and forth heh.

Lali, I don't know why it would be bad netiquette, just for the reasons mentioned above, I wouldn't have expected to check photos for URLs. Otherwise, it's really helpful! Except when the link just takes you to a homepage, rather the image's location (which sometimes lets you see a bigger version of it). Tinypic does that, so I've learned to avoid hovering over those links.

re: the grapes
Man, that makes not just the texture weird, but the shape itself. I thought it was a christmas stocking. Bad use of space, too.

Ewwww. At first (the top picture), it just looks weird. But when you go the whole way through the post, the head melts under heat lamps. Ewww.

That is really disgusting.

Just kidding. Halloweenies unite! At least it looks edible, with the cotton candy hair and such. I think even the lettuce is icing. I've bought "melting" candles before, so the effect doesn't bother me.

I do hate anatomical cakes that are made of gross-looking stuff, such as raw meat or squishy fruits for brains. Wouldn't touch those any other time of the year, either. I think we'd previously posted a realistic-looking cake baby. Since I also don't eat children, that kind of thing messes with my head lol. Like the worst cake I can imagine are ones with toilets on them. Even if it's just different-colored icing and an obvious joke to the recipient, you couldn't pay me to eat it with such ideas in my head.
